It was on an evening in 2018 when our daughter, Annabel, ran out of vanilla extract and wondered if we could just make some at home. That innocuous event prompted a fine discussion on all the possibilities of bringing our own product to market as first a homeschooling project, and then a real venture in entrepreneurship.
